# Setting Up Your Solana Wallet - Phantom

#### Step 1: Install the Phantom Wallet

#### **On PC (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge)**:

1. **Go to Phantom's Website**: Visit [Phantom's official website](https://phantom.app) to download the browser extension for your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).
2. **Install the Extension**: Click the "Add to Chrome" (or corresponding browser) button to install the Phantom wallet extension.
3. **Set Up Your Wallet**: After installation, click on the Phantom wallet icon in the top-right corner of your browser and follow the on-screen instructions.
   * Make sure to **securely store your backup phrase** (write it down and keep it in a safe place).
   * Create a strong password for your wallet.

#### **On Phone (iOS or Android)**:

1. **Go to App Store/Google Play**: Open the **App Store** (iOS) or **Google Play Store** (Android) and search for “Phantom Wallet.”
2. **Download and Install**: Install the Phantom Wallet app.
3. **Set Up Your Wallet**: Open the app and follow the instructions to set up your wallet.

   * Make sure to securely store your backup phrase.
   * Set up your password or biometric authentication.
